This Cookie Policy explains how Amberoc Inc. (“Amberoc,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on amberoc.com and our platform. It describes what these technologies are, why we use them, and the choices you have. This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
Using a non-essential cookie control such as our consent banner, you can accept or decline categories of cookies at any time. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent because the platform cannot function without them.
Plain language
Cookies that keep you signed in and the site secure are always on. Everything else, like analytics, only runs if you say yes. You can change your mind whenever you like using the link in the footer.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to the site owner about how the site is used.
In this policy, “cookies” also refers to similar technologies such as pixels, tags, software development kits, and browser local storage, which can be used to store or read information on your device for comparable purposes.
Cookies set by the website you are visiting are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by a different domain, such as an analytics provider, are called third-party cookies.
How we use cookies
We use cookies to operate, secure, and improve the platform. We group them into the categories below, and you can control each non-essential category through our consent banner.
- Strictly necessary. Required for the platform to function, including signing you in, keeping your session secure, and remembering your cookie choices. These are always active and cannot be switched off through our consent tool.
- Analytics. Help us understand how the platform is used, such as which pages are visited and where people encounter problems, so we can improve it. These run only with your consent.
We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles or to sell your personal information. If we introduce additional categories in the future, such as functional, product-analytics, support-chat, or marketing cookies, we will list them in Section 3 and request consent where required before they are used.
Cookies we use
The tables below list the specific cookies in each category, who sets them, what they do, and how long they last. Durations are approximate and may vary by configuration.

If your browser blocks the strictly necessary cookies, parts of the platform such as sign-in may not work correctly.
Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by third-party providers that deliver services on our behalf. When enabled with your consent, these providers may process information in line with their own privacy policies.
We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to understand platform usage. Google Analytics sets the cookies listed in Section 3 and may process data on Google’s infrastructure. You can learn more in Google’s Privacy Policy and you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to prevent your data from being used by Google Analytics across all sites.
Analytics does not load until you accept the Analytics category in our consent banner.
Managing your cookies
Our consent tool
When you first visit, our banner lets you accept all cookies, reject all non-essential cookies, or choose categories. You can reopen it and change your choices at any time using the link, which also appears in the footer of every page.
Browser controls
Most browsers let you view, delete, and block cookies through their settings. Because each browser is different, refer to your browser’s help pages. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent the platform from working as intended.
Google Analytics opt-out
In addition to declining Analytics in our banner, you can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using Google’s opt-out add-on.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no common industry standard for how to interpret it, we do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals.
We do recognize the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. Where your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of non-essential cookies and of the “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral purposes, to the extent required by applicable law, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the technologies we use or for legal reasons. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where required, ask for your consent again.
